What are skills or talents you have that people don’t know about you?
My talents and skills are that I have a BS in accounting and a BS in teaching secondary education. I worked as a high school teacher for 2 years and then as an accountant for 10 years in a supervisory position full time. During this time I taught fitness classes part time.
What is a goal you have for yourself that you want to accomplish in the next year?
My goal is to stay consistent in my fitness as well as helping others reach their goals.
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
I’m happy to be relaxing at the beach and working out at the beach as well!
What are some causes you care about?
I care about the safety and well-being of animals, curing diseases like cancer and Parkinson’s.
Why have you chosen coaching/fitness as part of yourcareer?
My late husband, a body builder, has influenced my career in teaching fitness. Denise Hart has also influenced my fitness career by giving me the opportunity to teach for her at her Pilates reformer studio. This required and still requires education in anatomy, personal training, using fitness as a therapy as well as a good functional workout, and keeping up with the latest research in fitness and safety.
